About Me
I am currently attending Tarleton State University and majoring in Agricultural Services and Development with an emphasis in Agricultural Education. After I graduate I hope to pursue a career as a secondary agricultural education instructor.
The study of agricultural education focuses on the needs of individuals and groups and in developing individually responsible knowledge, skills, and occupational values. Agricultural education goes beyond knowledge and skills development in that students are able to develop an understanding of:
1) the significance of agriculture in a global society and the United States society, through problem solving strategies;
2) relationships between the agricultural industry and other business industries interwoven with the entire economic and social structure of the community, state, nation, and world.
